According to sources, there was a fight between accused Aftab and Shraddha on May 18. During the fight, Shraddha was screaming, so to silence her and neighbors could not hear Shraddha’s voice, Aftab suppressed Shraddha’s face. Shraddha died due to suffocation.

It has also come to light that Aftab and Shraddha used to work in the same call center in Mumbai, though the girl’s family members were unhappy about their relationship. Shraddha and Aftab started living together in a rented house after coming to Delhi. Shraddha used to upload her photo on Facebook so that the family members of the girl would know where she was.
Father found the room locked, reached the police
When Shraddha did not post anything on Facebook for a few days, her family got suspicious. Her father had come to Delhi about five months ago and went to the place where his daughter was staying with her live-in partner. However, on reaching the location, Shraddha’s father finds it locked. He filed a missing report.
The killer was arrested before the search!
When the police started the investigation, it had been five months since the arrest of the accused. According to police sources, Shraddha was repeatedly asking the accused to marry her and under this pressure she killed him.
