However, liquor shops will not open on Tuesday due to the notification being released late Monday evening and some tax-related bottlenecks. It is expected that after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the order related to the opening of the liquor store will be issued. After this, shops will open from Wednesday.
Liquor sales in the state will be done both online and offline. This arrangement has been done for both urban and rural places. Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary, Department of Excise and Alcohol Prohibition, gave this indication in a meeting with members of the Jharkhand Retail Liquor Dealers Association on Monday.
