Bengaluru, ANI. A large number of people gathered at a fair held on Thursday at Kolagondanahalli village in Ramnagar, Karnataka. He took permission from Panchayat Development Minister AC Kalamatt for organizing this group. Based on the information received from the Tehsildar about this mass event, he was suspended by the Deputy Commissioner of Ramnagar. Let us tell you that lockdown is going on across the country to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 under which all mass events have been suspended.
A similar event took place in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday in which a huge crowd of people gathered to welcome Jain sage Paramanasagar. People were violating physical distance rules. Sagar ASP Praveen Bhuria said that instructions have been given to investigate the matter and action has also been taken against the organizers for the same. This type of violation has also been seen in Uttarakhand where crowds of people had gathered in Badrinath temple. The crowd of devotees did not even care about physical distance.

According to the Health Ministry, till 8 am on May 15, the number of active cases of Kovid-19 infection across the country reached 51401, while the number of people recovering from this is 27919. The death toll due to this infection is 2649 nationwide. Talking about Karnataka, there are 987 active cases of infection with novel corona virus. The number of healthy people is 460. Due to this the death toll in the state is 35.
