According to the announcement of the Commission, voting will be held in 7 phases from April 19. After this, counting of votes will take place on June 4 and the results of the election will be declared. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the schedule of Lok Sabha elections. Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and SS Sandhu and other senior officials were present on this occasion. The Election Commission had already informed that the program for the Lok Sabha elections will be announced today i.e. on Saturday.
Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Dates: The Election Commission had said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ that a press conference will be held at 3 pm on Saturday to announce the schedule of Lok Sabha elections and assembly elections in some states. It is noteworthy that the tenure of the current Lok Sabha is ending on June 16 and the new Lok Sabha is to be formed before that. According to the Election Commission, voting will be held in the first phase on 19 April, in the second phase on 26 April, in the third phase on 7 May, in the fourth phase on 13 May, in the fifth phase on 20 May, in the sixth phase on 25 and in the seventh phase on 1 June.
