This train connects Dibrugarh in Assam to Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and covers a distance of about 4,200 kilometers. The train runs weekly and takes about 80 hours to complete its journey. This train stops more than 50 times on the way. During the journey in this train, passengers get to see views from the lush green tea gardens of Assam to the sandy beaches of Kanyakumari.

Himsagar Express

Himsagar Express is a weekly train, which runs between Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. It covers a distance of about 3,800 km which is the longest rail route. This train takes about 73 hours and 5 minutes to complete its journey. Himsagar Express passes through 12 states and stops at 71 stations, making this train the best option for passengers going to Vaishno Devi temple in Katra.

Dibrugarh Express

The name of Dibrugarh Express is also included in the trains traveling long distance. Starting from New Tinsukia in Assam, the train covers a distance of 3,547 km to its final destination. The journey takes about 68 hours and has 35 stops along the way. Traveling on the Dibrugarh Express, passengers enjoy a beautiful journey through cities like Guwahati, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.

Kerala Sampark Kranti Express

The Kerala Sampark Kranti Express connects Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala to Punjab, covering a distance of 3,398 km. It takes about 54 hours and 25 minutes to reach its destination. Passengers get to see the views between the southern and northern parts of India.

Silchar Superfast Express

This train runs weekly between Silchar, Assam and Secunderabad, Telangana via Guwahati. It covers a distance of 2,875 km. It also takes 54 hours and 45 minutes to complete its journey.
