These new brand cylinders have been named as indane composite cylinder indane composite cylinder. Indane company has started this cylinder to facilitate the customers so that people can prepare for refill in advance. Don’t have to make a fuss when the cylinder runs out suddenly and the work of the kitchen should not stop. The Indane Composite cylinder will be completely different in appearance from the LPG cylinders which are made of heavy steel. These cylinders painted in red color are so heavy that even lifting becomes difficult. The reason is that in view of the safety of the gas, the cylinder is made of a thick steel layer. For many years, customers have come to see and buy such cylinders.
What is LPG Composite Cylinder
Indane composite cylinder will be made in three layers. The first layer will be made as a lining of High Density Polyethylene or HDPE. This layer will be inside the cylinder. The second layer will be composites which will be made of polymer coated fiberglass. The last or outermost layer will also be made of HDPE. Thus making it in three layers means that the LPG cylinder is safe as well as convenient for the customers so that the amount of gas can be detected easily.
Advantages of LPG Composite Cylinder
The composite cylinder will be lighter than the red and heavy cylinder. Let’s assume that the red cylinder will reduce its weight by half. This information has been given on the website of IOCL. Right now this cylinder has been launched in select cities of the country like Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Faridabad and Ludhiana. IOCL says that the new cylinder will soon be launched across the country. At present, this cylinder is coming in the weight of 5 kg and 10 kg in these cities.
Give the old cylinder, take the new cylinder
If customers want, they can get a new composite cylinder by giving their old steel cylinder. For this, the balance of the security deposit will be deposited by the customer in the company. The security deposit for a 10 kg cylinder of composite cylinder has been kept at Rs 3350 and for 5 kg at Rs 2150. Right now this cylinder has been kept in the FTL category. 5 kg composite cylinder can be purchased by paying Rs 2537 plus GST. 5 and 10 kg composite cylinders can be delivered at home.
