LPG Cylinder Price: Before Chhath, common people have got some relief. Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) have announced reduction in the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG Cylinder in four metro cities. Companies have reduced prices by up to Rs 57.5 per cylinder from November 16. Just before Diwali, companies had increased the prices of commercial cylinders by Rs 101.50. Now reducing the prices by Rs 57.50 is also a relief along with the price adjustment.

Now after the revised prices, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in the country will be Rs 1,775.5 in New Delhi, Rs 1,885.5 in Kolkata, Rs 1,728 in Mumbai and Rs 1,942 in Chennai. While a decline has been seen in the prices of commercial LPG, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders.
No change in domestic cylinder prices
Earlier this month, the oil marketing company had increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders at many places across the country for the second time in the last two months. The prices of both commercial and domestic LPG cylinders are revised on the 1st of every month. The price cut in commercial LPG cylinders is expected to reduce the burden on businesses like hotels and restaurants that are heavily dependent on LPG for cooking.
