New rates of Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai
Talking about the latest price of commercial gas cylinder, it has now become Rs 1522.50. The new prices have come into effect from September 1. That is, now a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1522.50 instead of Rs 1680. At the same time, in Kolkata also, the rate of commercial gas cylinder has come down from Rs 1082.50 to Rs 1635.
Similarly, in Mumbai, commercial cylinders will now be available for Rs 1482 instead of Rs 1640.50. People have got relief due to reduction in the prices of gas cylinders.
There was a cut in the price of domestic gas cylinder
Earlier, on Tuesday, giving relief to the people from inflation, the central government had announced to reduce the price of cooking gas cylinder (LPG) by Rs 200. With this, the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana will get a total gas subsidy of Rs 400. Earlier he was getting a subsidy of Rs 200.
After this decision, the cost of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 903 from Wednesday. Earlier it was Rs 1,103. At the same time, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana are getting LPG cylinder for Rs.703.
