LPG gas prices increased twice in December
LPG prices have been revised twice in the month of December. Prices of LPG have been changed for the first time on 1 December and also on 15 December. It is decided on the basis of fuel price and foreign exchange rate in the international market during the first fortnight. However, some media reports have said that companies are now planning to revise the price of LPG cylinder weekly. Till now, customers have got mixed up with the daily changes in the prices of petrol and diesel. In such a situation, they will not have any problem even with the revision of LPG prices in a shorter period than before. However, it is also worth noting that no official information has been revealed about this yet.

The reason for revising the price of LPG cylinders in a short period is also similar to changing the price of petrol and diesel every day. Oil companies fix the price of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. Actually, the price of petroleum products in the global market varies on a daily basis.
This is the reason why oil companies are now considering changing the price of gas cylinders on a day to day basis. By doing this, these companies will help in fixing the average price and they will be able to avoid incurring huge losses. Currently, these companies have to bear the loss due to rising prices in the international market.
