If you want LPG connection from public sector Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), then you have to give a missed call on bus- 8454955555 number. Along with this, existing customers can book LPG cylinder filling by giving a ‘missed call’ through the registered phone number. IOC Chairman SM Vaidya on Monday launched ‘Missed Call’ service to provide new LPG connections anywhere in the country. According to the company’s statement released on Monday, he also inaugurated the facility of providing two cylinder connection (DBC) to the customers at their doorstep. Option of 5 kg cylinder also
Under this initiative, the delivery personnel will give an option to the customers who have a single cylinder connection to convert it to a two cylinder connection. Interested customers can also opt for a 5 kg cylinder instead of the 14.2 kg cylinder for use at the time of need. According to the statement, “IOC has extended its missed call facility to all domestic customers to avail the new LPG connection. Potential customers across the country can give a missed call to 8454955555 to get a new connection. Presently, IOC is the only oil marketing company to provide this facility. Launching the initiative to customers across the country, Vaidya said, “For a company with the widest customer base, it has been our constant endeavor to make today’s experience better than yesterday’s. We are constantly using technology to offer state-of-the-art facilities to Indane customers. The facility of booking gas cylinder refills across the country and missed calls for new connections in select markets was introduced in January 2021. This initiative will save time for the customers and registering for a new connection will be simple and cost-effective. Booking and payment through Amazon and Paytm
“This will especially benefit elderly customers and people living in villages. Customers can book and pay for LPG filling through Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), IndianOil One App or through the portal https://cx.indianoil.in. According to the statement, customers can book and pay for gas refills through Amazon and Paytm through WhatsApp (7588888824), SMS/IVRS (7718955555), or even through Alexa.
