LPG Cylinder Price Hike: Government oil companies have once again increased the prices of LPG Gas Cylinder today i.e. on 6th October. The price of LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 15 per cylinder.
New Delhi: LPG Cylinder Price Hike : Before the festive season, the general public has once again got a big blow from inflation. Domestic LPG gas cylinder has become expensive once again in the first week of the month. Government oil companies have increased the price of domestic gas (LPG Gas Cylinder) today i.e. on 6 October.
Increased price of LPG gas cylinder
The price of 14.2 kg cylinder without subsidy has increased by Rs 15. With this, now the price of LPG cylinder in the national capital Delhi has increased from Rs 884.50 to Rs 899.50. It is worth noting that earlier on the first day of the month, the oil companies had increased the price of 19 Kg commercial gas cylinder by Rs 43.5 per cylinder. However, there was no increase in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders at that time.
New rates of LPG cylinders in metrosÂ
1. After the increase in the price of LPG cylinder, now the price of 14.2 kg cylinder without subsidy in Delhi has increased to Rs 899.50.
2. At the same time, the price of LPG cylinder in Kolkata has increased from Rs 911 to Rs 926.
3. The price of LPG in Mumbai has increased from Rs 844.50 to Rs 899.50.
4. The price of non-subsidized cylinder in Chennai is now Rs 915.50.
19kg commercial gas cylinder price
The cost of 19 kg commercial gas in Delhi is Rs 1736.5. The price of commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata is Rs 1805.5. Rs 1685 in Mumbai and Rs 1867.5 per cylinder in Chennai.

Natural gas prices increased by 62%
Earlier, the government has increased the prices of natural gas by 62 percent. And this is the reason that after increasing the benchmark price in the international market, the government has announced an increase in domestic gas prices. For the October-March half (October 2021 to March 2022), the price of natural gas has now increased to $2.90 mmbtu. For the April-September 2021 half, this price was $1.79 per mmBtu. That is, the rising price of natural gas has increased the price of all gas from domestic gas.
The price of CNG-PNG also increasedÂ
Let us tell you that due to the increase in the price of natural gas, the prices of CNG, PNG (PNB) and cooking gas have increased. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the price of CNG in Delhi-NCR by up to Rs 2.55 per kg. At the same time, the price of PNG has been increased by Rs 2.10 per cubic meter.
