LPG Price Hike: LPG cylinder became costlier by Rs 62 from today, know the new rates

LPG gas cylinder prices are fixed on the first of every month. Oil companies increase the price of LPG gas according to their expenses and inflation. This time the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has been increased. The price of cylinder in Delhi has increased from Rs 1740 to Rs 1802.

With the beginning of the new month, the price of LPG cylinder (LPG Cylinder Price Hike) has been increased. From today, the price of LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 62. Oil companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder (19kg LPG Price). Companies have not made any change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder i.e. there has been no change in the price of LPG cylinder. According to the IOCL website, new rates have come into effect from today 1 November 2024.

LPG gas cylinder prices are fixed on the first of every month. Oil companies increase the price of LPG gas according to their expenses and inflation. This time the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has been increased. In Delhi, the price of cylinder has increased from Rs 1740 to Rs 1802.

In Kolkata, the cylinder has increased from Rs 1850.50 to Rs 1911.50. At the same time, 19 kg LPG cylinder in Mumbai will be available for Rs 1754 instead of Rs 1692.50. In Chennai, this cylinder has increased from Rs 1903 to Rs 1964.

No change in the price of LPG

There has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder. Its prices have remained stable for the last few months. This cylinder is available at the rates of August 2024 only. Its price in Delhi is ₹ 803, in Kolkata ₹ 829, in Mumbai ₹ 802.50, and in Chennai ₹ 818.50. For general customers, its price in Delhi remains ₹ 803, while for the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana, its price is ₹ 603. The government had cut the price of this cylinder by about ₹ 100 in August 2023.

Prices had also increased in October

In October also, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder had increased. LPG commercial cylinder in Delhi had increased by Rs 50 to Rs 1740. At the same time, commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai had become Rs 1692.50, Rs 1850.50 in Kolkata and Rs 1903 in Chennai. Earlier in September also, the rate of LPG cylinder had increased by about Rs 39 to Rs 1691.50.
