LPG Price Today: As always, the rates of LPG cylinders will be updated on the first date of the month. New LPG rates will be released on 1 December 2024. According to the data given on IOC, before the Modi government, on 1 December 2013, the domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1021, in Kolkata Rs 1050.5, in Mumbai Rs 1038 and in Chennai Rs 1014. Today, on 29 November, it is getting cheaper by more than Rs 200 from that rate. The rate of LPG cylinder in Delhi today is Rs 803. It was available at the same rate on 9 March also.
In the last 11 years, the cheapest 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder in December was available for only Rs 584 in December 2016 and the most expensive was in December 2022. Then one had to pay Rs 1053 for an LPG cylinder in Delhi.
In December 2023, the rates of LPG cylinder in Delhi were Rs 903.00, Rs 929 in Kolkata, Rs 902.50 in Mumbai and Rs 918.50 in Chennai. In December 2022, domestic cylinder was available in Delhi for Rs 1053, Rs 1079 in Kolkata, Rs 1052.50 in Mumbai and Rs 1068.50 in Chennai.
In December 2021, it was available in Delhi for Rs 899.50, in Kolkata for Rs 926, in Mumbai for Rs 899.50 and in Chennai for Rs 915.50. Whereas, in December 2020, it was being sold for Rs 694 in Delhi, Rs 720.5 in Kolkata, Rs 694 in Mumbai and Rs 710 in Chennai. In December 2019, it was priced at Rs 695 in Delhi, Rs 725.5 in Kolkata, Rs 665 in Mumbai and Rs 714 in Chennai.
