New LPG Subsidy Policy

For information, let the customers know that in the coming time, you may have to pay up to Rs 1000 for the purchase of every LPG cylinder . The government has considered completely eliminating the subsidy on the purchase of LPG. However, the subsidy will be provided to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme. Yet government subsidized LPG ( LPG Subsidy ) has not pronounced any judgment.

Who will get LPG subsidy

The government has made new rules for LPG subsidy. Do you know which citizens will get LPG subsidy under these new rules. The government can give subsidy up to Rs 1,000 on a cylinder . However, till now the government has not taken any decision on subsidy. It is believed that citizens with an annual income of less than Rs 10 lakh will get the benefit of subsidy. Apart from this, all the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme will be given the benefit of subsidy on the purchase of LPG.

Benefit of Subsidy Provision will be made to provide subsidy to BPL families who are getting benefits under Ujjwala Yojana. Modi government LPG Subsidy is discussed (LPG subsidy) but yet the subject has not taken a decision that who will get the benefits of the subsidy and who does not.

However, subsidy on the sale of LPG cylinders is being considered. The sale of LPG cylinders should be continued without providing subsidy and another way is to provide subsidy on the purchase of LPG only to selected customers by the government. However, LPG connections will be provided free of cost to the customers living below the poverty line under the PM Ujjwala scheme.

How much does the government spend on subsidy

Financial year by the central government in 202l LPG Subsidy on 3559 crore has been spent. For your information, let us tell you that in the financial year 2020, the expenditure of LPG subsidy was Rs 24468 crore . DBT Scheme was started in January 2015 . Under this scheme, customers have to pay non-subsidized LPG subsidy money. The subsidy money is given to all the customers by direct transfer to the bank account.
