PhonePe has launched an insurance plan for travelers attending the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh from 13 January to 26 February 2025. This plan provides coverage for medical emergencies, personal accidents and inconveniences during travel. This insurance plan will start from just Rs 59.
Types of insurance – Two options will be available in this insurance scheme
For those traveling by train or bus – ₹ 59 per passenger.
For those traveling by domestic flight – ₹ 99 per passenger.
PhonePe has introduced this policy in partnership with ICICI Lombard General Insurance, which will provide financial security to people participating in one of the world’s largest spiritual organizations.

- Hospitalization and OPD treatment.
- Doctor consultation.
- Personal accident coverage.
- Compensation for loss of check-in baggage.
- Travel cancellation and missing connecting flights.
How to get insurance
- Open the PhonePe app and go to the insurance section.
- Select Maha Kumbh Insurance.
- View product details and buy.
- Select the plan and fill in the member details and make the payment.
