Maharashtra Election 2024: Congress releases second list of 23 candidates for Maharashtra election, check list

Maharashtra Election 2024: Congress has announced 71 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. 48 candidates have been given tickets in the first list and 23 in the second list.

Congress Candidate List for Maharashtra Election 2024: Congress has released the second list of candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections , in which 23 candidates have been given tickets. With 48 candidates in the first list and 23 candidates in the second list, Congress has announced a total of 71 names.

In the second list released for Maharashtra elections, Congress has given ticket to Girish Pandav from Nagpur South. Candidates have also been announced for 3 seats in Mumbai. These include Kandivali, Charkop and Sain Koliwada. Kalu Badheliya has been made the candidate from Kandivali East. Yashwant Jaiprakash Singh has been chosen as the candidate from Charkop. Apart from this, Ganesh Kumar Yadav is the Congress candidate from Sain Koliwada seat.

Rajesh Tukaram from Bhusaval, Swati Sandeep Walkar from Jalgaon (Jamod), Mahesh Gangane from Akot, Shekhar Pramodbabu Shende from Wardha, Anuja Sunil Kedar from Savner, Suresh Yadavrao Bhoyar from Kamthi, Puja Ganesh Thavkar from Bhandara (SC), Dalip Vaman from Arjuni Morgaon, Rajkumar Lotuji Puram from Amgaon, Professor Vasant Chinduji Purke from Ralegaon, Anil Balasaheb Shankarrao Mangulkar from Yavatmal, Jitendra Shivajirao Moghe from Arni, Sahebrao Kamble from Umarkhed, Kailash Kishanrao Gorantyal from Jalna and Madhukar Krishnarao Deshmukh from Aurangabad East.

Vijay Govind Patil from Vasai, Hemant Ogale from Shrirampur, Abhaykumar Satishrao Salunkhe from Nilanga and Ganpatrao Appasaheb Patil from Shirol have been fielded in the election fray.

When are Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024?

Voting is to be held on 20 November in a single phase for 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra. After this, the results will be declared on 23 November. The seat sharing in MVA has been done on the formula of 85-85-85. That is, the Uddhav faction has to field candidates on 85 seats, Sharad Pawar faction on 85 seats and Congress on 85 seats. MVA’s allies can field their candidates on the remaining seats.
