Mahindra Thar Roxx launched at a starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh, check features and other details

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Thar Roxx after a long wait. The price of Mahindra Thar Roxx starts at Rs 12.99 lakh for the base petrol manual while the price of the base diesel manual starts at Rs 13.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The Thar Roxx is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder mStallion turbo-petrol engine that generates 160bhp and 330Nm of torque.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Thar Roxx after a long wait. The price of Mahindra Thar Roxx starts at Rs 12.99 lakh for the base petrol manual, while the price of the base diesel manual starts at Rs 13.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Thar Roxx is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder, mStallion turbo-petrol engine that produces 160bhp and 330Nm of torque. There is also a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, mHawk diesel engine available that produces 150bhp and 330Nm of torque. Customers get the option of a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Features

The 2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx features a new grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlamps, circular fog lights, dual-tone alloy wheels and rear-door-mounted handles. At the rear, it features rectangular LED taillights and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

The Thar Roxx comes with features like a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, digital colour instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and dual-tone upholstery.

Level 2 ADAS for safety

Mahindra Thar Roxx has taken full care of safety. The vehicle has been given a Level-2 ADAS suite, which has four disc brakes, 6 airbags, TCS, TPMS and ESP. To assist in off-road trips, Mahindra is also offering Crawl Smart Assist (CSA) and Intelli Turn Assist (ITA) as well as an electronically locking rear differential.

These will compete with vehicles

The Thar Roxx will compete with cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyder.
