The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has launched the BS6 Compliant S-CNG variant of its light commercial vehicle Super Carry. Its ex showroom price in Delhi is 5.07 lakh rupees. The Super Carry is the country’s first light commercial vehicle (LCV), whose engine has been updated to BS6.
CNG kit with petrol engine too
Talking about the engine, the Maruti Suzuki Super Carry has a dual-fuel petrol engine of 1200 cc, which generates 65 PS at 6000 rpm and 85 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. It is the only LCV in the country, which comes in a dual-fuel CNG variant with a 5-liter petrol tank.
