Talking about Bank of Maharashtra, AS Rajeev was made the MD and CEO of the bank in 2018. Rajiv’s tenure was to end this year in 2023 but last month he got an extension of six months in November 2023. Now his tenure is going to end in April 2024. What is the situation in private banks?
Talking about Axis Bank, the tenure of current CEO Amitabh Chaudhary will end on December 31, 2024. Same is the situation with Atul Goyal of PNB. However, no information has been received yet on the selection process of the new MD and CEO of Axis Bank and PNB. Apart from this, the tenure of Shyam Srinivasan, who became the MD and CEO of Federal Bank in the year 2010, will end on September 22, 2024. The search for a new CEO for DCB Bank has started. According to the information given by the bank in an exchange filing on October 20, the bank’s board has prepared a list of names for the new MD and CEO. This list will soon be sent to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The tenure of Murali Natarajan, the current MD and CEO of DCB Bank, is set to end on April 28, 2024. Apart from this, the tenure of V Vaidyanathan, who took over as MD and CEO of IDFC First Bank in December 2018 after the merger of Capital First and IDFC Bank, will end on December 19, 2024.
