Medicine Price in India: On the new year, a notification has been issued by the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authorities (NPPA), in which it has been said to control the prices of all medicines.

On New Year, the government has decided to reduce the prices of medicines to provide relief to the common people. In such a situation, soon people will start getting 19 medicines related to fever, pain and infection etc. at cheaper prices than before. For this, a notification has been issued by the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authorities (NPPA), in which it has been said to control the prices of all medicines.
Let us tell you that the prices of these medicines had already been recommended by the Multidisciplinary Committee (MDC). The medicines which will be made cheaper include medicines for infection, pain, fever, throat infection, deworming etc.
Along with this, NPPA has issued a notification saying that companies will be allowed to add GST on it only when they have paid the GST themselves. Along with this, an order has been issued to revise the prices of medicines for the treatment of serious infections of Cipla and Wockhardt.
