From April 1, 2023, the prices of 25 essential medicines will increase. It also includes painkillers, anti-biotic, anti-infective and cardiac medicines. Their price will increase by 12%. Medical stores will not be able to sell medicines at a higher price than this.

  • Gliclazide – Rs 6.57 per tablet
  • Bilastine and Montelukast Orodispersible – Rs 13.21 per Tablets
  • Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride Syrup 1ml – Rs 1.16 per ml
  • Dapagliflozin & Metformin Hydrochloride 5mg (Extended Release) – Rs 7.31 per Tablets
  • Dapagliflozin & Metformin Hydrochloride 10mg (Extended Release) – Rs 10.53 per Tablets
  • Levocetirizine, Montelukast & (SR) Ambroxol Hydrochloride- Rs 15.39 Tablets
  • Combi pack of Clarithromycin Tablets IP, Esomeprazole Tablets IP & Amoxicillin Tablets USP- Rs.152 for 6 tablets.
