Milk Price Hike: Due to rising inflation, a jump in the prices of milk is being seen. Mother Dairy had recently increased the prices of milk. Now the Karnataka Milk Federation has announced an increase in the prices of Nandini brand milk and curd. Last week, in a meeting with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, KMF had proposed to increase the prices by Rs 3 per litre. But it was decided to increase the prices of both milk and curd by Rs 2 per litre. KMF President Balachandra Jarkiholi said after a meeting in Bengaluru that ‘we have increased the price keeping consumers and farmers in mind. We want the cooperation of the public in this.

What will be the new rate of milk and curd
The Managing Director informed that the price of double toned milk is now Rs 38, toned milk Rs 39, homogenised toned milk Rs 40, homogenised cow milk Rs 44, special milk Rs 45, Shubham milk Rs 45, Samridhi milk Rs 50. And the price of saturation milk will be Rs 52 per litre. Along with this, the price of Nandini curd will be Rs 47 per kg.
Mother Dairy increased the price of milk
Mother Dairy had increased the rate of full cream milk by Re 1 in Delhi-NCR before the price hike in Nandini brand. Tokenized milk has also become costlier by Rs 2 per litre. These increased rates from Mother Dairy have come into effect from 21 November. Due to the increase in cost, there has been talk of an increase in the price. Mother Dairy, which supplies more than 30 lakh liters of milk daily in Delhi-NCR, has increased the prices for the fourth time this year.
