Can go with family or alone
Central employees can now plan to celebrate the holidays in the Northeast, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Jammu and Kashmir. In fact, the government provides LTA to central employees. Under this, employees and officers can get travel allowance if they go anywhere. In which employees or executives can go with their family or go alone. Most of the travel expenses are covered under LTA. However, due to the corona crisis, the allowance of central employees was not increased this time.
The Dearness Allowance (DA), which is twice a year, is being paid to central employees at the old rate due to the Corona crisis. Drought allowance increased by 4% in January 2020. After this, the drought allowance for central employees is 21 per cent. After this, as the financial situation worsened due to the corona virus, it was not raised. Currently, as of June 30, 2021, the drought allowance is only 17 percent. Every year in January and July, the central government makes an announcement to increase the drought allowance.
