Mumbai Local Train: Central Railway has advised passengers to check the train timings and routes before embarking on the journey. Let us know which routes will have train services disrupted due to the mega block and on which routes the train timings have been changed.
- These changes will see adjustments in the Thane-Kalyan route, both up and down, in its fast/semi-fast services. Trains on this line will now operate between 9:34 am and 3:03 pm, thereby extending the normal service time keeping in mind the influx of passengers.
- Similarly, additional fast/semi-fast services between Thane and Kalyan, including stops at Kalwa, Mumbra, Diva and Mulund, will run from 10:28 am to 3:40 pm maintaining a frequency of 10 minutes as per the regular timetable.
- Further, significant changes include the suspension of some services and the introduction of new timings for others. Notably, mail/express trains connecting CSMT/Dadar to Kalyan and Thane/Vikrol will now depart from the 5th and 6th platforms respectively.
- Further, the network has temporarily suspended services between Panvel/Belapur and Mumbai, which were earlier available from 9:45 am to 3:12 pm and from 10:33 am to 3:49 pm.
- Improvements made to the Trans-Harbour line include continuation of operations between Thane and Panvel, albeit with some disruptions. While the Thane to Panvel service will run from 11:02 am to 3:53 pm, the return journey from Panvel will remain suspended till further notice.
