Mumbai Rains Live Updates: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is taking stock of the situation in Mumbai, from the control room.
Update: Death toll from the wall collapse incident in Malad has increased to 18. The wall had collapsed on hutments in Pimpripada area of Malad East due to heavy rainfall.
Mumbai Rains Live Updates: Exams postponed
Mumbai University has postponed the exam of B.Sc Computer Science for first and second year students due to heavy rains.
“The schedule of the cancelled examinations will be announced soon. Today, no examination of Mumbai University will be held due to heavy rainfall,” Maharashtra’s Higher and Technical Education Minister Vinod Tawde said.
Operations at Mumbai airport impacted: As many as 54 flights have been diverted and 52 cancelled at the Mumbai airport due to inclement weather, cross winds and tail winds, ANI has reported.
