MMC has released the schedule of NEET PG Round-3 counselling. Candidates can register and pay fees from 22nd September to 25th September.

NEET PG 2023 : The Medical Council Committee has made a major change regarding the cutoff of National Eligibility cum Entrance Post Graduate (NEET PG). The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to reduce the cutoff for counseling to zero . MMC has also issued a notice in this regard. All the candidates who had appeared in NEET PG examination can register for Round-3 counselling .


Schedule of round-3 counseling released

MMC has also released the schedule of NEET PG Round-3 counselling. Candidates can register and pay fees from 22nd September to 25th September . The process of seat allotment will run on 26-27 September. Medical students will have to report to the allotted college from September 29 to October 6. “ The qualifying percentage for PG courses for NEET PG counseling 2023 has been reduced by MoHFW to zero for all categories, ” MCC said in the notice .

IMA and Ford had appealed for reduction in cutoff.

Let us tell you that recently the Indian Medical Association had written a letter to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya demanding a 30% reduction in the NEET PG cutoff. So that maximum seats in clinical and non-clinical branches can be filled.

At the same time , Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA ) had also appealed to the Union Health Ministry to reduce the cut-off, which was approved by the Health Ministry. The benefit of this decision will be available to all the candidates appearing in NEET PG examination.
