New Aadhaar App: A new Aadhaar App has been launched by the government. This app is currently in the testing phase and after this users will not need physical Aadhaar card and photocopy. Let us tell you about it.

New Aadhaar App: Aadhaar cards are issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) but it is not easy for many citizens to keep Aadhaar cards safe. Also, its photocopy is needed on many occasions, due to which privacy related concerns have also come to the fore. Now the government has launched a new Aadhaar App to give the benefit of digital convenience and better privacy.

The app is currently in the testing phase and after its launch, the need for physical Aadhaar card or its photocopy will end. Users will be able to keep their information related to Aadhaar card safe in the app and it can also be verified very easily. It is claimed that due to the support of face authentication, Aadhaar verification will be as easy as unlocking the phone.

Users will get these features with the app

  • Face ID verification: The new app supports Face ID authentication on mobile, which makes Aadhaar verification very easy and secure.
  • QR code scanning: Users can now not only verify but also share their Aadhaar details digitally by scanning QR code or using the requesting application. In this way, the whole process becomes as easy as UPI payment.
  • Control over privacy: Users can share only the necessary data, which gives them complete control over their personal and sensitive information.
  • No need for photocopies: Now there will be no need to submit photocopies of Aadhaar at hotels, airports and other places, which will reduce the possibility of misuse of data.

With the app, Aadhaar sharing and verification of users will become easier and much more secure. The app will be made available to everyone after testing it with selected users.
