New Airport: Hisar Airport has got the license from Aviation Regulator DGCA. Soon flights will be available from Hisar to Jammu, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur and Ayodhya.
There is good news for the people of Haryana. Actually, Hisar Airport, the only airport in the state, has got the license to fly airplanes. This license was received on Thursday (March 13) from Aviation Regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation i.e. DGCA.
Now soon flights will start from Hisar Airport to Jammu, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur and Ayodhya. Trial landing is expected to start next week. It is said that the hard work of the Haryana Government and the Aviation Department paid off in getting the license. The Haryana Government and the Aviation Department were working continuously in this entire process.
The Union Minister told when Jewar Airport will start
Recently, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu had told that Noida Airport will be inaugurated in May 2025. Talking to the media, he said, “We are preparing for the inauguration of Noida Airport and will start it in May.” Earlier, Jewar Airport was to be launched by April 2025.
Madhya Pradesh gets 8th airport
Recently, Datia Airport in Madhya Pradesh has become the 8th public airport of the state. This airport has been built on about 118 acres. The runway of this airport is 1810 meters long and 30 meters wide. The terminal building of this airport is spread over an area of ​​​​768 square meters. Last month, DGCA had issued a license to Datia Airport as a public aerodrome under 3C and VFR category. Earlier on 9 September 2024, Rewa Airport got a license in 3C / IFR category.
