New Delhi Railway Station New Rules: Delhi Police has made some important rules for the passengers going towards Maha Kumbh. Understand these rules before going to the station, otherwise you may be stopped from going to the station.

New Delhi Railway Station New Rules: Last Saturday night, 18 people died and many people were injured in the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. Learning from the incident, Delhi Police has made some important rules for the passengers going towards Maha Kumbh. Understand these rules before going to the station, otherwise you may be stopped from going to the station.

Know these 5 rules before going to the station

No entry to the station before time

To reduce the crowd on the platform inside the station, it has been decided that passengers arriving before a certain time of departure of the train will have to wait outside the railway station.

There will be checking at entry and exit

To prevent overcrowding, Delhi Police personnel along with Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) will check the tickets of passengers at all entry and exit points.

Trains will leave from platform 16

All special trains going to Prayagraj will be dispatched from platform number 16 only. Officials said that platform 16 can be reached from many entry and exit points from the ground level. This will eliminate the need for passengers to use the foot over bridge.

Ban on roaming on foot over bridge

In view of the incident that happened earlier, the police has also banned roaming on the foot over bridge without any valid reason. Actually, standing on the foot over bridge without any reason causes congestion and delay.

Temporary pandal built outside the station

To control the crowd coming to the stations, a temporary pandal as well as a waiting area has been built outside the station. Along with this, patrolling has also been increased on all platforms, so that passengers will not be allowed to sit on the platform without any valid reason.
