New Expressway: 16 hours journey will now be completed in 8 hours, 701 KM long expressway has 65 flyovers and 6 tunnels

New Expressway: The work of the last phase of the 701 km long Samruddhi Expressway has also been completed. It is reported that it can be opened by March 15.

Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway: 16-hour journey in just 8 hours… Yes, this is absolutely true. An expressway has been completed in the country which will make this 700 km journey easier. Actually, we are talking about the Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway, which is ready. Work on the incomplete 76 km long section of this road project has also been completed, and now it is completely ready. In the year 2015, CM Devendra Fadnavis had announced this road project, which is ready after 10 years.

It is reported that the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation can fully open this expressway around March 15. However, the 625 km long section of this expressway from Lagatpuri near Nashik to Nagpur is open for vehicles. Let us tell you the special things related to Samridhi Expressway…

Construction completed in 16 phases and ten years

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation was constructing this important road project in the state. The work of this expressway being built in 16 phases has been completed. Samridhi Expressway will provide excellent road connectivity between Mumbai and Nagpur. The special thing is that the travel time between these two cities will be reduced from 16 hours to just 8 hours.

-This 701 km long expressway is known as Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Samridhi Mahamarg. This expressway will pass through 9 districts of the state (Nashik, Aurangabad, Wardha, Amravati, Washim, Buldhana, Jalna, Aurangabad, Ahmed and Thane) and 390 villages.

-Another big feature of the Samriddhi Expressway is that underpasses and overpasses have been built for the 3 wildlife sanctuaries located on its route.

-33 big bridges, 274 small bridges, 6 tunnels and 65 flyovers have been built on this expressway. At the same time, the longest tunnel has been built at Kasara Ghat.

-Mumbai-Nagpur Samriddhi Mahamarg is a 6 lane access controlled expressway. Electric charging points and plants for solar energy have also been built on this road project.
