Faridabad-Jewar Expressway Latest News- The six-lane Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is being developed under the Bharatmala project. Its total length is 31 km.

The government is building new expressways and highways for better connectivity of Jewar Airport in Noida with other parts of the country. In this episode, a greenfield expressway is also being built from Faridabad to Jewar Airport. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has now got approval to make an 8.5 km long section of this expressway elevated. By making this part elevated, the total cost of the project can increase by about 48% to ₹ 2,450 crore. The work of pillar construction has already started near Sector-65 for the elevated section. This section will work to connect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the local city infrastructure. However, there is no agreement yet between NHAI and the state government regarding shared funding. After this agreement, the construction work will speed up.

The six-lane Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is being developed under the Bharatmala project. Its total length is 31 km. It will extend from Ballabhgarh to Dayanatpur village in Jewar and will pass through villages like Chandavali, Sotai, Bahbalpur, Phaphunda, Panhera Khurd, Narhavali, Mahmadpur, Hirapur, Mohana and Chainsa. The project aims to promote better road connectivity and economic development on the Faridabad-Jewar route.

2-hour journey will be completed in 15 minutes

The Faridabad Jewar Expressway will connect Ballabhgarh to Jewar airport in 15 minutes. At present it takes about 2 hours to travel between the two places. The new expressway will have six lanes and the distance will be reduced from 90 km to 31 km. According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), development work has already started. 22 km of this expressway will be in Haryana while the remaining 9 km will be in Uttar Pradesh.

This route will connect both Faridabad and Gurugram directly to Jewar airport. The Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is very important. After its construction, real estate prices in the surrounding villages and other areas are likely to increase by 30 to 40 percent. As a result, this expressway will benefit both industry and real estate apart from creating linkages.
