This includes flights to Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. 95 percent of the seats of these three flights are full. At present, the fare from Agra to Bengaluru is Rs 19 thousand. Union Minister of State SP Singh Baghel said that efforts are on to connect Agra with the big and industrial cities of the country. After the flight to Hyderabad, now a direct flight is starting for Ahmedabad. Efforts are being made to run flights from Agra to Kolkata, Guwahati and Srinagar along with the Northeast. Along with this, a decision will be taken soon on flights to Surat and Goa.
Ahmedabad flight will run from today: Yogendra Singh Tomar, director of Kheria Airport, Agra, said that the Ahmedabad flight is starting from Tuesday in the winter schedule. The flight from Agra to Ahmedabad was closed since March 2024.
Indigo Airlines manager Devraj Pandey said that the company will use a 78-seater aircraft. Whereas, earlier 85 percent of the seats of this flight were full. This flight will now run six days a week except Wednesday. Its minimum fare will be five thousand rupees.
