New Insurance Policy: Affordable insurance policy- India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has launched two personal accident covers at affordable premiums. The term of the policy called Health Plus and Express Health Plus is one year. These policies provide protection against financial risks such as death, disability and medical expenses caused by accidents.
New Insurance Policy: The sum insured for Health Plus is Rs 5 lakh. On unfortunate death or permanent and personal disability, the family of the insured person will get 100% of the sum insured. Up to Rs 50,000 will be given for the child’s marriage.

In the Health Plus insurance policy, the policyholder will get an insurance amount of Rs 25,000 in case of bone fracture in an accident. The annual premium of Health Plus is Rs 355 including tax.
Persons taking Express Health Plus insurance policy will get an insurance amount of Rs 10 lakh. In case of unfortunate death or permanent and personal disability, the family of the policyholder will get 100% of the sum insured.
If the policyholder is injured in an accident, he will get an insurance amount of Rs 25,000 for treatment. In case of unconsciousness, the insurance amount will be given at the rate of 1 percent per week for three months to 10 weeks.
Apart from this, in the Express Health Plus policy, the policyholder will get accidental medical reimbursement of up to Rs 1 lakh in case of an accident without adding OPD expenses.
In case of death of the Express Health Plus policy holder, the family can get a claim of about Rs 5,000 for funeral expenses. Up to Rs 50,000 will be paid for the education of children. The annual premium of the Express Health Plus policy is Rs 555 including tax. Meaning you can get all these benefits on a premium of only Rs 46.25 per month.
