Recently, Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Rameshwar Teli, in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, said that only 23 states and union territories have prepared the draft rules.

Overtime, impact on PF: If the employee works more than 48 hours in a week, then overtime will be paid. Basic pay should be 50% or more of the total pay. With the increase in basic salary, your PF will also increase. Due to this, the pension amount received after retirement will increase. At the same time, there is a proposal for incentives, medical insurance and other facilities in the Labor Code of the Central Government.
