This decision was taken in a meeting of the state cabinet of Tamil Nadu held on March 5 this year, after which those who buy 180 ml bottle of liquor have to pay Rs 10 more, Rs 20 for 375 ml bottle and 750 ml bottle. Customers have to pay Rs 40 more for a bottle of liquor. Along with this, the price of beer was also increased by Rs 10.
