Let us tell you that the Seventh Pay Commission has been implemented in the universities of Jharkhand. However, this facility has not been made available yet in some colleges. After the continuous demand of the teachers of Kolhan University, Jamshedpur, the employees are now going to get the benefit of seventh pay scale. HRD has given approval for the seventh pay scale to 350 employees sent by the university administration.

With the benefit of the new pay commission, a big increase in their dearness allowance and other allowances and pension amount will be recorded. More than 60 employees of the Cooperative College will get its benefit. Many such employees will also be included in this, who have retired. Employees of LBSM College Jamshedpur along with Tata College Chaibasa will also get its benefit. Tell that the employees of Kolhan University were not getting the right pay scale for the last several years. Because of which he was continuously making important demands from the government.

Payment of arrears

Arrears will be paid to them from 2016. The amount to be paid by the university will be deposited in their account. There are also some colleges whose employees were not being given the benefits of the Seventh Pay Commission because their documents were not correct. Preparations have been made to implement the new pay scale for them also within 1 month.

Increase in salary from Rs 15000 to Rs 20000 fixed

Along with payment of arrears, many other facilities including increase in dearness allowance and increase in other allowances will also be made available to the employees. Due to the new pay commission, an increase of Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 in the salary of the employees is considered certain. Whereas, an amount of Rs 5 to 10 lakh will be paid to non-teaching employees as arrears. However, they will also have to pay tax on the arrear amount.
