Good news for staff teachers. They will be given the benefit of the new pay commission. Along with this they will be paid in arrears from 2007 onwards. Along with this, you will see up to two and a half lakh rupees in the employees’ account. On the other hand, a big increase in their salary will be seen.
Employees, Employees New Pay Commission, Employees Arrears : There is good news for employees. They will be paid in arrears only after 2007. For this the judgment was pronounced by the High Court. Which has now been sealed by the state government. Its orders have been issued by the Directorate.
Order to issue arrears
The para teacher will be given the benefit of sixth pay scale by Himachal government. The benefits under the 6th Pay Commission will now start getting them. Along with this, since 2007, all Deputy Directors have also been ordered to issue arrears to them. For this, orders were issued by the Directorate of Higher Education. Let me tell you that an important verdict was pronounced by the Himachal Pradesh High Court in the case of para teacher.
6th pay scale benefit
According to the arrears received from 2007, an arrear amount of two and a half lakh rupees will be provided to each teacher. The decision in favor of the teacher has been implemented by the former Primary Education Department. Para teachers will also start getting the benefits of the 6th Pay Commission.
Increase in salary by 20 to 25 thousand rupees
All teachers of the state will get a new scale and their salary will be increased by 20,000 to 25,000 rupees. According to the para teachers, as per the order, the previous teachers will get 3600 pay including 10300 and 3% increment benefit while the previous teachers will be provided 4200 grade pay with 10300 basic pay and 3% increment benefit from time to time.
Earlier batch-wise recruited teachers started getting the benefits of the Sixth Pay Commission after 2009 while para-teachers were deprived of it. After this in 2012 Mohanlal became SP state case was filed in the High Court. Himachal government decided in 2014 that para teacher will not be given this benefit. After this, in 2014, a plea was filed in the court. On which the High Court had directed the state government to give the benefits of the sixth pay commission including arrears to the para teachers.
