It is clearly stated in the instructions that the salary for the month of November will be made on the basis of biometric attendance only. The salaries of those officers and employees who do not register biometric attendance will be deducted.
There is important news for lakhs of government employees and officers of Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi Adityanath government of the state has once again made biometric attendance mandatory for the secretariat employees in the state. Under this, from November 1, employees and officers of all 93 departments of the Secretariat will have to register their biometric attendance, otherwise their salary will be deducted by imposing absence. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has issued instructions to make salary on the basis of biometric attendance only.
New system implemented from November, salary will be deducted if not followed, action will be taken
In fact, due to officers and employees not reaching the departments on time and not registering their attendance in a systematic manner, the state government had implemented the system of biometric attendance in July 2019, but due to the Corona epidemic, it was changed and an alternative system of attendance was made. But now before the Lok Sabha elections, the state government has once again issued orders to register biometric attendance. It has been made clear in the order that the salary for the month of November will be made on the basis of biometric attendance only. The salaries of those officers and employees who do not register biometric attendance will be deducted. Now strict action will be taken against the people, hence all departments should work on this.
If you do not have biometric attendance, you will be considered absent.
Apart from Uttar Pradesh, now in Haryana also it has been made mandatory for employees and officers to register their biometric attendance and if they do not do so, action will be taken and their salary will be deducted. If the employees do not register their biometric attendance, they will also be considered absent. In this regard, the Chief Minister Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has also issued instructions. Let us tell you that during the Corona period, employees were given the freedom to register attendance manually instead of Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAAS), but this revealed great negligence on the part of the employees. The government has decided to implement it again.
