Rules Change from Today 1st November 2022: The month of October is over with festivals and a new month November has started from today. Many rules related to money have changed from 1st November. The government has given relief by reducing the rate of 19 kg commercial cylinder today. However, there has been no change in the rate of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder. However, the way of booking and taking cylinders has changed. Now you have to give OTP for this. Also, it has become mandatory for customers taking insurance to do KYC. Let’s know about these rules.
1. LPG gas cylinder has become cheaper
Oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders i.e. 19 kg cylinders by up to Rs 115. The companies have not made any change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder. In Delhi, a 19 kg cylinder of Indane will be available for Rs 1744 instead of Rs 1859.5. Commercial cylinder will be available in Mumbai for Rs 1696. Earlier the price here was Rs 1844. On the first of every month, petroleum companies fix the prices of 14.5 kg domestic gas cylinders and 19 kg commercial cylinders. Their rates change every month.
2. KYC made mandatory for health and general insurance claims also
The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has made it mandatory for customers taking insurance i.e. insurance to give KYC (Know Your Customer) information from 1 November. Till now KYC was required to be given while buying a non-life insurance policy but it was not mandatory. Now it has become mandatory from 1st November. These are mandatory for both new and old customers. If the KYC is not updated at the time of making the claim, then there may be problems while taking the claim later.
3. Subsidy on electricity will be stopped in Delhi
The subsidy on electricity to the people of the capital Delhi will be stopped. Now the people of Delhi had to register to get 200 units of electricity free every month and the last date for this registration was 31 October today. After this you will have trouble getting free electricity.
4. Now OTP will have to be given for booking gas cylinder
From November 1, the process related to the delivery of LPG cylinders has changed. After booking for gas, OTP will be sent to the mobile number of the customers. When the cylinder will be delivered to your home, then you will have to tell this OTP to the delivery person. The customers will get the cylinder only after getting the code.
