New Delhi, Tech Desk. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its cheaper smartphone Redmi 8A Dual in India this year. Which was available in two storage variants. But now the company has also launched its new storage variant in India. It has 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. This information has been shared by the company’s India head Manu Kumar Jain. Apart from storage, there has been no change in the phone and new variants have also been launched at a lower price.
Sharing a post on Twitter, Xiaomi’s India head Manu Kumar Jain has informed that ‘the country’s powerful smartphone Redmi 8A Dual has now become double-powered. We are very happy to launch its 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variants in India. It has also been informed that Redmi 8A Dual will be available for sale in India from June 15. Apart from Mi.com and Amazon, it can also be purchased from retail outlets.
The 3GB + 64GB model of Redmi 8A Dual is priced at Rs 8,999. While the 2GB + 32GB model price is Rs 7,499 and the 3GB + 32GB model costs Rs 7,999. After the launch, the company has so far increased the price of this phone twice.
Redmi 8A Dual specifications and features
Redmi 8A Dual has a 6.22 inch HD + display with Waterdrop Notch, which is coated with Corning Gorilla. The phone has been introduced on Snapdragon 439 processor and the storage given in it can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. Based on Android 9.0 Pie OS, this smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support for power backup.
Dual rear camera has been given in Redmi 8A Dual for photography. It includes a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. While the front camera of the phone is 8MP. But in this phone, users will not get the facility of fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth TH, Dual SIM support and GPS have been provided.
