On this whole matter, he had to say that he had asked for the papers of the vehicle from his house, but till then the Haryana Traffic Police cut his challan. Dinesh Madan says that the total price of his scooter (scooty) at this time was only 15000 rupees. Follow the traffic rules otherwise this can happen to you too.
Challan will not be deducted for talking on the phone while driving, see this rule
You can talk on the phone while driving. Yes, according to the traffic rules, no traffic policeman can deduct your challan for doing so. If he does so then you can challenge it in court. Actually, according to the rules, if a driver talks on his phone using the handsfree communication feature while driving, then it will not be considered a punishable offense. For this the driver will not have to pay any fine. This information was given by the Minister of Road Transport and Highways himself in the Lok Sabha.
In the Lok Sabha, Hibi Eden had asked whether there is any provision of penalty for the use of handsfree communication feature in motor vehicles under section 184 (c) of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019. In response to this question, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari had said that Section 184 (c) of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019 provides for punishment for the use of hand-held communication devices while driving a motor vehicle. He added that no penalty is imposed on the use of handsfree communication devices in the vehicle.
Now 2000 challan will be deducted even after having all the papers
According to the new traffic rules, even if you have all the papers of the vehicle, your challan of Rs 2000 can be deducted. How can this happen, today we will inform you about it. In fact, according to the Motor Vehicle Act, if you misbehave with a traffic policeman while checking the paperwork of the vehicle or in any way, then according to rule 179 MVA, he has the right to deduct your challan of 2000.
It has been seen many times that we start an argument with the policeman about something and that argument becomes so much that it turns into misbehavior. In such a situation, you are advised not to misbehave with the traffic policeman and if the policeman misbehaves with you then you have the option of complaining and taking the matter to the court.
