Canceling Ride Fine on Driver: The Tamil Nadu government has decided to change the traffic rules from October 28. Under this new rule, arbitrariness by auto and cab drivers happening in the state will be stopped.
Now cab or auto drivers cannot cancel the ride of passengers. If he does so then he will have to pay a fine ranging from 50 to ₹ 500. This decision of the Tamil Nadu government was very much seen by those people who often book cabs or autos.
Heavy fine will be imposed
Many times such information has come to the fore in the media in which people talk about canceling the ride by auto and cab drivers. This troubles them a lot. By doing this many times people get delayed in reaching their workplace or home.
Keeping such matters in mind, the Tamil Nadu government has made a new rule. This rule clearly states that if the drivers refuse to take the passengers or cancel their booked ride, then they may have to pay a fine ranging from ₹ 50 to ₹ 500. With this decision, the arbitrariness of the drivers will be stopped, and the movement of passengers will be easy.

- Under the new rule, some other things have been said which are as follows:
- If the driver is seen using mobile, tab, music player or any other electronic device while driving, then he may have to pay a fine of up to thousand rupees.
- Even after paying the fine once, if the driver is caught doing so again, then a fine of 10 times that amount i.e. ₹ 10,000 will have to be paid.
- If you are caught without documents then you will have to pay a fine of up to ₹ 5000.
- Drivers may have to pay a fine of up to one thousand rupees for breaking the signal and a fine of up to ₹ 10000 for the second time.
