According to media reports, UP Additional Chief Secretary Finance has sent a letter to all the district magistrates in this regard and has given instructions to implement all the options given to submit the life certificate. With this, pensioners will get big benefits in pension.
The Secretary has informed in his letter that apart from the Jeevan Pramaan portal of the Government of India, the digital options given to the pensioners and family pensioners for submission of life certificates include “Jeevan Pramaan” App, Post Offices, Banks and Public Suvidha Kendras and UMANG of the Government of India. The certificate can be submitted through the link available on the portal.
According to media reports, digital life certificate can be deposited in the treasury through door step service of banks post office in door step service. The presence of the pensioner is not mandatory if the life certificate is signed by a notary or by an official of an authorized Indian bank representative of India’s diplomatic representative.
According to media reports, apart from this, there is a provision for pensioners taking the benefit of family pension that digital life certificate can be submitted on the basis of a certificate to be issued by an authorized officer of the Embassy of India, High Commission, Embassy of India. .
