According to the report published in the Economic Times, soon Kerala can get the gift of the first Vande Bharat train (Kerala Vande Bharat Train). Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off the state’s first Vande Bharat train by the end of this month.

According to the report, PM Modi will flag off the first Vande Bharat train of Kerala on April 25, 2023. Will flag off the train from Thiruvananthapuram. According to Southern Railway, the Kerala Vande Bharat train will complete the total distance of 501 kilometers in 7.5 hours. The maximum speed of this train will be 180 km per hour.
What is the route of Kerala Vande Bharat?
Kerala Vande Bharat train will run between Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur in Kerala. In this route, the train will stop at Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Tirur, Kozhikode stations. There will be a total of 16 coaches in this train. It needs a chairperson and an executive. Railways has not yet announced the timing and fare of this train.

Earlier, PM Modi had unveiled the Jaipur-Delhi Vande Bharat train on April 12, 2023 through video conference from Delhi. Till now, a total of 15 Vande Bharat trains are being run in the country. This train is completely built with 100 percent indigenous technology.
This train was first run between Delhi to Varanasi in the year 2019. Vande Bharat train is one of the ambitious plans of PM Modi. This train is 100 percent air conditioned. It has many facilities like GPS system, WiFi, automatic doors etc.
