Nifty holds up at 11,900 , Sensex at 40,000; Kotak Bank to report numbers | Opening Bell | Oct 26

The market rates for the first day in the week shows sign of a quiet start, with Nifty-50 holding on to the 11,900 mark. However, Kotak Bank is today going to report its numbers and a clutch of mid-caps which are going to be in focus. Tata Motors is also going to be delivering its numbers today and the stock is also going to be in focus because of this.

IndusInd Bank jumps up about 2.5%, Nestle holds up smartly, L&T is looking good and so is Shree Cement. ONGC and Cipla are both trading well in the green. ICICI Bank, however, has started quietly. Airtel is also going to report its numbers tomorrow and the stock is in focus today.
