NIRF India Rankings 2020 for University: Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released the ranking of the country’s universities on 11 June 2020 today. Releasing the rankings of all universities and higher education institutes in the country, the HRD minister said, “Ranking on various parameters will encourage the evaluation and research of these institutes. Will help these institutions to advance internationally. The process of evaluation and review based on the criteria of education, learning, results etc. will enhance the quality of education in all the selected institutions, universities, colleges and specialized institutions. “
NIRF Ranking 2020 University Category
The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is the best university in the country according to the University category of NIRF ranking 2020. At the same time, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi is the second best university in the country, ranked second in the rankings. Similarly, Kashi Hindu University in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh has been ranked third in the University category of NIRF University Rankings 2020.
