New Delhi, Online Desk. NIRF Ranking 2020: Rankings of universities and higher education institutions across the country will be released tomorrow. Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced shortly before now that the NIRF rankings will be released by listing the universities and institutes that have succeeded in making a place in 2020. The NIRF rankings are prepared by the National Institutional Ranking Framework of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The NIRF ranking 2020 will be released by HRD Minister tomorrow at 12 noon.
NIRF rankings are issued in universities and other higher education institutions on parameters of Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusion and Perception.
NIRF’s India Ranking 2020 will be released on the basis of performance in various universities and higher education institutions as per the standards of ranking during the previous year i.e. 2019. The National Institutional Ranking Framework invited data submissions from various universities and higher education institutions for the India Rankings 2020 to be released this year from 22 October to 14 December 2019.
The rankings have been prepared by NIRF after analyzing the data of universities and higher education institutions on the prescribed standards. The NIRF ranking 2020 was to be released in the month of March itself, but could not be released in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic.
Top institutes of NIRF ranking 2019
Indian Institutes of Science, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, Hyderabad University, Calcutta University, Jadavpur University, Anna University, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Savitribai were among the universities to make the top 10 in last year’s NIRF India rankings. Phul Pune University is included.
