Indian Railways: If you travel by rail, then you should know that now there will be no guards in trains. The Railway Board has changed the guard in the train in a new form, accepting the years old demand of the railway employees.
Indian Railways New Rule: There is important news for railway passengers. Now there will be no guards in your train. Actually, the Railways has changed the designation of Rail Guard, fulfilling the years old demand of its employees. Now the guards posted in the train will be called Train Manager. A letter has also been issued by the Railway Board to the General Managers of all the railways in this regard. Significantly, for the last several years, this change was being demanded by the Railway Employees Union.
Decision has been implemented
This decision has been implemented by the Railways with immediate effect. Actually, this demand of the employees was accepted earlier this year. Indian Railways has also publicly announced this on its official account. Let us tell you that there was a demand from the employees to change the designation of the guard since 2004. The employees said that the job of the guard is not just to show the flag and torch for the signal, so its designation should be changed.
Not changed responsibility
Although the railways have changed the designation of bus guards, their responsibilities will remain the same. In fact, along with meeting the needs of the passengers in the trains, the execution of parcel material, the safety of the passengers and the maintenance of the train are also the responsibility of the guards. In such a situation, the demand for changing the designation has also been considered by the Railways as justified. Railway officials said that changing the designation will not change the responsibility of these employees.
