If you are travelling by train, you can also show the Digital Aadhaar Card and Driving License in your Digilocker app when asked by the Railway Authority as valid documents. There is no need to carry Aadhaar card and driving licence along the train journey. Doing so can make your journey easier.
The Government of India has provided Digilocker account facility under the Digital India campaign. You get up to 1 GB of cloud space for free. Your document can be scanned in this app.
Indian Railways has recognized digital Aadhaar card and Driving License in DigiLocker as valid document as valid document.

To use it, you have to install the DigiLocker app on your smartphone. It has to sync with your Aadhaar. This allows you to use documents anywhere. In addition, you can also sign in to your laptop or computer and get it.
Your documents are safe in DigiLocker. These documents are in the cloud and are locked with a four-digit PIN number. This keeps it safe. DigiLocker app has Aadhaar OTP option for access.
When your DigiLocker account is open, you can also scan and upload your documents yourself or get help from the company in which your DigiLocker is registered.
