No need for NOC for registration of land up to 500 yards

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that as per the amendment in the law, any person who has made a power of attorney, agreement for sale on stamp paper or any other such document for land up to 500 square yards in an unauthorized colony till July 31, 2024, will not need any NOC for registration of land. He alleged that illegal colonies grew rapidly during the long “misrule” of previous governments as earlier governments had given protection to those who set up illegal colonies.
